Partly made from young vines, Initial de Desmirail is the Château's Second Wine. It also benefits from barrel ageing. This wine should be drunk within ten years to fully appreciate its qualities.
A "round, pleasant wine to drink young", it takes its name from the D and L, the initials of the current owner, which appear on the majestic entrance gate and on the pediment of the Chartreuse.
